Yeah. One the low end is not very noticable from the shorties but you can really tell in the top end.

i don't think the torque loss would be worth it. Even on the bottle.

Well one, that kid said that you would have to find someone to inspect your car if you have an o/r h pipe. LT's are ILLEGAL too! Also, yes LT's look great but they dont sound great when they are hanging 3' off of the pavement and they scrape everywhere you go (mac's hang veeeeeeeeeeeeeery low). I would NEVER buy MAC LT's again.... ever ever ever ever. And if your car is basically stock dont buy LT's... it WILL kill your low end.

+1 Longtubes are complete overkill with an otherwise stock car. What was all the talk earlier about needing to do other mods to get shorties put on? I'm at a loss for what that was all about.

Thats all BS. Shorties will bolt right up... equal or unequal. Both of them still mount the same to the h pipe, its just the difference between the lenth of the seperate tubes.

No sh** and I was having trouble understanding the reasoning that was being given.

Didn't make any sense to me. You'd also lose more than a little low end torque.
