how bad is it
does it do any damage to your engine when you punch it when you get a chance? I dont mean from a stop i mean rolling in first gear and giving it juice but not redlinging it or doin a burnout.

I always feel bad when I pummel my GT (my car, for you dirties). Funny thing is, the car seems to like it. It seems like when I slug it around, it begins to feel a bit soft. Then when I traipse on the gas pedal a few times, it starts to pull harder. I think running the car hard from time to time is good for a few horsepower
. I know what you mean though...I still can't quite reconcile in my brain how an engine can even last five minutes...let alone 250k miles. Engineering marvels to say the least.
