Default manual steering

is it possible to remove the hoses and pump on my 86' and just cap off the lines to run as a manual steering setup?

and also, where can i get a manual master cylinder that will work on an 86 mustang?

thanks for your help.

it is possible but your gonna need a manual rack and preferably a quick ratio. I run a quick ratio and if you are after feeling every bump in the road and want to be tuned into the road, replace the rag joint with a polyurethane one.

Your car will drive like when the engine is off. If you want manual I'd suggest doing it nicely: manual rack, larger steering wheel, and a solid steering shaft..
