ok here it goes. first off i never bring my car to mechanics. a few months my trans was makin a wierd *** noise. since i know very little about transmissions i had to bring it to a shop. so i brougt it in and they replaced some stuff, that cost like 700$. then i got it back and it was still making a noise, but it wasnt as loud. so i took it back and they mechanic said that the gears needed to break after about 400 miles. so after 400 miles i took it back and siad "still makin the noise". then they assured me that it was normal, b/c they were mixing new parts, and old parts. so like last thurs it started making like the same noise but extremely loud. so i bring it back to the place, and now they tell me that i need a new trans! im so mad b/c first i spend 700 and its not even fixed, now i have to get a whole new trans!! they said they can credit me w/ what they fixed before(it that is whats wrong w/ it) and put a new trans if for the difference of pric. but i dont know what to do now.. anybody ever heard of Jasper transmissions?? any good? any help or advie?? please!!

f force?? is that like a G force?? better quality?? where do ya find them at? anyone?

Jasper trtansmission are race transmissions. You dont need one of those unless you have hellacious horsepower.

the place that i brought it too said that is what they use to replace them. jasper reman transmissions.
what would it take to replace it w/ a tko?? what would i need? bellhousing?

I wouldnt let them put a new tranny in. Take your hit on the $700 bucks. Buy a rebuild kit and have someone rebuild it and drop it in yourself... save you lots of cash. Did they give you a price for the new trans?

the tras that they are goin to replace it w/ is a jasper and it has a 36 month 750000mile warantee on it(the trans is 1900). so pretty much right now im screwed b/c if i do it myself im screwed out of 700$ but can i trust them to do it right? what is a good trans that i can get for a decent price?
