It was okay, I'd reccomend putting it on a lift and doing it though, I did it on the floor of my garage with 2 jackstands and it was a PITA trying to get the plunger with the new spring in there. But otherwise, yeah, it went pretty smooth.

My father has an 83 vert with an automatic shift kit and also has a 83 elky with a shift kit when you shift it like a manual (take the shifter to low and work it up) they shift pretty hard and both shift pretty hard with reg driving too even when not hot rodding it

Nah it's not that annoying lol i love it, Just be crusing and some rice burner MY CAR ROXXERS comes up beside you and your just barely goin when it shifts to second and the rear end barks lol they start moving back... like ummm sorry i thought you were someone slower. or if you kick it and have enough power so when it barks the rear end starts smoking hehe that really gets them

They are not too tough to do, especially since the transgo's come with a video. Just don't install the option that will allow it to shift into OD at WOT. OD @ WOT = [:@]

i have a **** kit in mine and when/if you're going easy on it, it shifts really good actually. when you're just cruisin all nice like around town you can't tell there's one in it
