Default Trunk Question

Ok i have searched the forums high and low for the answer to this what is required to hold the trunk up on a Notch Ever where i have called told me They take the same as a hatch back or Notches don't hold the trunk up you have to...

There are coil springs mounted on each of the hinges on either side.

I can take a picture if you really need to see what they look like

I got a pic that shows (a little) where the bars are mounted...it's hard to tell from this angle but there are two notches where the trunk bars go that hold tension. Maybe you can see them in my pic..maybe not. I wish that I could draw an arrow to them but I don't know how.

Hmm it looks like the Vert may be different then the coupe... from the pic it looks like your hinges are on top of the trunk on mine they are under the trunk lid mine is also a 1993 if that helps and Karma i couldn't see what you were talking about [&:]

Sorry, I was lost there for a sec too.[:'(]...so I ran out and took a few pics for you...sorry I can't draw arrows to I took like a couple pics of what mine looked like. They are diff from the 'Vert.

Ah those are much better now i know what to look for... now if i can just find somewhere to but those parts hehe, ok just to clarify the bars are the red heading across the pic correct hmm let me see if i can put arrows in and you verify if you don't mind
