Thanks everyone, my dad, brother, and I just went to go look at it. I think it just got overheated and the overflow...well...overflowed. That doesn't explain the smoke, although there aren't any leaks.
My car has been in and out of the shop for a month or two now. So I guess I never dumped the overflow and it finally got full. So you're right, it was something simple. And I'm glad I don't have to buy a new radiator. Thanks for calming me down, I won't panic too bad next time

after it cools down, let it idle without the radiator cap, and watch the temp gauge, if it climbs fast and you cant see the coolant flowing, then your thermostat is stuck closed.
but there is a chance there is just an air bubble in there,
just make wure you have some coolant handy, if there is a bubble your coolant level will drop.

smoke = radiator fluid spews out, hits the hot block and instantly evaporates creating "smoke". i had that happen thinking i blew something, boy was i glad it was just a hose =p
