Those defintly are alot higher than MAC's. MAC's hang like 4' off the ground lol

If your not making the power than LT's are really unecessary 4 a street car and I wouldnt do it. Just my .02

^+1 on the cars setup, for a street setup with mild mods, shorty headers 1 5/8", to an h/x pipe of your chioce (2 1/2" also) and then into a tuned catback system w/ mufflers (2 1/2" to maybe 3" tips if you'd like). For a more aggressive racing or track style setup when your running a turbo or supercharger or stroker kit or 351W go with long tubes (1 5/8" also) and then into a 2 1/2" off road x pipe and then into a (2 1/2" or 3") cat back or dumps, use a low restriction muffler for this type of setup. These are jmo, its entirely up to you. The long tubes are less restrictive than the shorties, claims are that they give 20-25 more hp than stock so really its 10-15 and shorties are claimed to 10-15 hp gain which prolly is 10 hp gain. BBK is good quality.

Well, all I am saying is skip the MAC's lol

And if you put LT's on a mild street combo you will lose alot of bottem end.... trust me.

I just switched from Mac 1 5/8 shorty equal lengths to Mac Long tubes... MMMM nice. It sounds amazing up top (and while it's climbing all the way up). The spark plugs are as easy as I don't know what to change. (compared to my Shortys) And no they don't hang to low. Maybe your Engine Mounts are shot. Mine has a great amount of clearence. I can take a Picture when I get home. And the install wasn't hard at all. Unbolt the front Engine mounts, jack the front of the engine up, and in they slide...

Oh but on a side note... MAC coatings are not the best. I sanded mine all the way down and painted then with some Ceramic stuff... Works good.
