i know nj inspection is more strict then ny and i passed with a full mac system cats and cat back no smog pump and shot suspention im sure you should pass

emissions is the only tricky part

make sure u got all ur blinkers and stuff like that working

new york you take it to a mechanic which will usually give you a stick no matter what unless hes a *****

i live in New York and dont have cat's and I pass, you are older than '97 so you dont get smog tested, just need to make sure there aren't any dash lights on and the horn works...lol

go to a local car show and ask around who guys take there rods to and that's the guy who'll lick n stick for ya... but w/ cats you wont have any probs.
