You are going to have hella heat soak with the 1500, they run insane hot compared to the 2.2 L because they have no bypass valve. I would totally scrap the Kenne Bell 1500 and step right up to the 2.2, they are a better all round charger in every catagory.

btw: That entire set-up ROCKS!!!!!, with a KB blower you should be able to give Z06 Vets and 911's a run for their money, if not just stomp em out right,
in every catagory..... power, ride, handling, acceleration

SWEET!!!

oh yeah going with new TKO 600 new FR aluminum DS, Mcleod DF clutch, Mcleod SFI bellhousing, 3.55s in the rear, eaton posi carring them moser 31 splines with c clip elims, full five lug conversion, w/ 10th anniversary cobra calipers with 13" slotted pro slot rotors, sporting 2003 cobras w/ 275/40/17 nitto 555 drags on back and 275/40/17 nitto 555 extremes up front, full MM road and track box for suspesion, 2 core Northern radiator, black magic extreme ele fan, got 2 1/4" no cats offroad h pipe exhaust about to be full 3" kit, going with 42# injs w/ pro-m 80mm MAF and 75mm TB, got MM 6 pt roll bar w/ swing outs,

i think thats 450rwhp....... about what a 347 KB should make too.

damnit man, just went over to look at that KB again and it is a ts1000-8 so only 8 lbs prolly not a good setup on my ride, prolly just wait and do the s/c thing later, might have to buy it anyway and put it on a stocker

yeah those were the very first ones they made i think.

i think they do lack on the flow side.

okay well here it is, it is the TS1000-8 which is just a TS1000-5 with i suppose a 8lb pulley on it, said on there that is is a 8lb kit,, not for sure if it is worth the $$ for it, b/c it is only for the S/C and the intake, bracket fuel regulator, there is no ignition for it or fuel pump, still think it is worth the $900?

yes

new 6psi KB is $3,000

KB doesnt like to use bigger pumps they use their Boost A Pump system
