RE: C4 question
THats very interesting Tinman...im horrible on trannys and clutches...when i drive, i really drive a car. i baby my car dont get me wrong, but that once a month at the strip is the most exspensive day of the month for me. Ive went through 3 T-5 tranny's and 4 clutches in about a year and a half. And yes i do know how to drive a stick...i just drive the absoblute hell out of them when i do.
Those PA C-4's is what i was refering to in Summit, they're about $2000 and have a lifetime warranty on them. They're rated at 1000hp, so its an overbuilt tranny for my application, thats where i want to be.

RE: C4 question
Don't blame you for wanting an 'overbiult' trans. Yep, each day I go racing is expensive for me too, thats why I go to work every day.
I'm using a C-4 in mine too but I think I'll be ok for awhile as its only a 306 on carb........

RE: C4 question
Ive got a 351Cleveland 4V motor im putting together for my mustang and im planning on about 600hp and im hoping for about a high 9 sec car when im finished. And im just wanting something to really hold all the power im wanting to throw at it. That lifetime warranty is what im really smiling about, so if i break it, im just gonna box it up and ship it back for another one. PX429 told me some of his friends are running them and they can really take the power, so im leaning torwards those, with a tranny break im very happy.
