Another Clutch Question
My clutch is still stiffer then my buddies stock mustang clutch and that is what this is a direct stock replacement clutch, my question is how is the cable routed over the Quadrant? and what else could cause this cable to be so much stiffer then stock? i thought it was strecthed so i made a spacer which helped quite a bit. but like i said it is still pretty stiff.

RE: Another Clutch Question
It just hooks over the top of it. You have to push the "paw" forward while hooking it so it can self adjust. I'm assuming you're using the stock quadrant? Lil bit of a challenge some patience will be needed.

RE: Another Clutch Question
As i bought the car and all the guy said he had done was just cold air intake and headers, but from looking at some pic's of quadrants on the internet it looks like ford used plastic and this one is metal so i'm unaware if this is stock or not.

RE: Another Clutch Question
New thing i was driving the car and paying close attention to the clutch when i would shift now when i first take off i hear a loud pop and sometimes during shifting I hear the same pop... I hope this helps determine the problem. also it seems that when the clutch is out there is a squeak coming from under the car and when i push the clutch in it stops... it only does this after the car gets warm though
