I am thinking it might be more cost effective to go 347 because with the 351 I will need some swap headers, distributor, lower intake(dont know if they make it for a rpm2) oil pan, and a tranny to handle the power.

Build something based off a Dart block if you have the money. As long as you don't hurt a cylinder, you can rebuild at .003-.005 over. The blocks can go .185 over so it could easily be the last block you ever buy. If you're going nitrous, I'd go 351 based. If you are going forced induction, I'd stick with an 8.2" block but buy a big bore.
