the car is styill warm cause when my hood is still hot so this leads me to believe that the fluid in the trany is still pretty warm..... i drove it about 2.5 hours ago ....... when i checked the fluid in the tranny when the car was off it wasnt even enough to be on the dipstick.... i let it run for 5 min and it still wasnt even enough to even be on the dipstick..... how much should be in it?? where should it be on the dipstick when the car is cold and not runnin?? there are two dots and a crosshatched area.......

i would say start adding fluid 1/2 a quart at a time... make sure to check the fluid when the car is on!!!!!!!!!!! everytime!!!!!

too bad its 2 am here and nowhere is open this late that i can buy tranny fluid at.......... soon as i get up in the morn ill go buy like 5 qt's ...... if i have sum left over ill just keep it in my car with me from now on....
