Default strange ignition problem

my 90 gt has gotten a very strange problem. a few weeks ago my blower motor and turn signals stopped working. i discovered that if i turned the key back a tad while the car was running that they would work. after a week or so after starting the car and releasing the key the car shuts down. if i hold the key forward a little after it starts then it stays running. i assumed it was the key tumbler since moving it made these things work,so i replaced it. needless to say that is not it. anyone have any ideas what this could be? i thought maybe the ignition switch but wanted some opinions first.

Most likely it's the elctrical part of your ignition switch. It's located on the steering column under the lower panel.

they had a recall on that....my local ford honored it,cause it's a potential fire hazard......i zipped tied mine when mine started doing that
the pot metal to plastic tabs is the problem.
