Hey, Im going to buy new L/T's for my project car (85LX with a C4) and cannot find BBK headers to fit an automatic. They have a good deal for $239 for a set but none will fit the auto. anybody have a link or anything.

i dont think u can get LT's for the auto

there maybe some that fit but will probably require fitment issues with the crossmember

For my application all i want to do is run an H pipe with 1 chamber flows into turndowns or just turndowns after the long tubes. Not trying to go with a stock look as this is going on a drag car

hmm well i have an AOD so i was shopping for headers that fit my car

i honestly dont know about the C4

like i said u could probably find some that fit but will require some modifications

my bro thought he culd do LT's on his 88 GT it didnt work so he got shorties the... the LT's dont fit on autos

Only ones I found so far that would were Hooker's and they are twice the price of BBK's BUT they do fit autos!

i have LT's for my autoatic. from MAC. but i have a 89.. so it might fit different. look on ebay for the the MAC headers. BLueOval INdustries usually has alot of them. just search

Dont think you can put LT's on the Auto's... i have bbk shorty equal length ceramic coated.... with off road h pipe and its a great setup... y r long tubes a must?

Long tubes produce the most amount of HP. With a drag car im looking for the most out of the product. I called about the Hooker Headers Pt. # 6222-HKR and they will fit the auto, just not a C6. Only thing is that for regular BBK's LT's, they cost $239. The Hookers regular long tubes for my application are $419. Looks like these are my only option.
