Default Engine Noise...

There are not any specific noises that im noticing with my car but between about 1200 and 3500 rpm the engine is a little clicky... Im assuming that this is normal lifter tick because its not really any type off pinging or knocking sound, at least not that I have heard.

Are the 5.0s just kinda noisy by nature (and im assuming they are) and if so what are the different sounds between the normal clicking of the engine and a problem...

Go easy on me this is my first mustang/american style engine...

Hydralic roller cams are quiet. If you're getting lifter tick, it has something to do with your oil pressure, or oil getting TO the lifters.

I disagree, you'd be hard-pressed to find a 5.0 without at least some lifter tick. My car has it coming from the rear of the passenger side cylinder bank and my oil pressure is fine...had a ford dealer check it with a mechanical guage.
