uhh, stall converter for a manual? i dont know jack about sticks but i thought only aod's have stall converters. and should i just put a new water pump & oil pump? id ont need the high flow or high performance ones do i? not for a stock motor. or mildly modded.

no but like i mean, what should i replace under the hood while the motors out, the ac crap & what else, im thinking of re-running the cable to pop the hood. mine seems a little stiff.

change the mounts, check the brake lines for heavy corrosion or rust, examine the booster. might be a good time to change the master cylinder or rebuild it. check the clutch cylinder, change all the vaccume lines as they will be brittle (or will soon). take the time to look at the rack and pinion, change some of the suspension bushings as its easier with the engine out. pull the a-arms and change bushings and balll joints as they should have been done many years ago. you will have a little while to do it with the engine being rebuilt so you might as well do it before somthing goes bad and you get hurt.

right. the main seal and all that is automatically getting replaced as the motors getting rebuilt. im also putting shorty equal headers on while the motors out. ill check all the other stuff too that was mentioned.
