RE: Underdrive pullies and larger throttle body!!!
oh ok... maybe thats why i couldnt understand why i couldnt go to a 70mm throttle body because i was thinking the stock one was 65mm... i dont know why i was thinking that but thats why i thought... so if i went with the 65mm throttle body and the u/d pullies, wouldnt the gains be noticable??? thanks for the help

yep, obviously not hugely....you will feel a much better throttle response. When I did my exhaust I definitely felt pick up...compared to doing the air silencer and K&N which I noticed absolutely nothing

yea, i was thinkin the throttle response would be the most noticable... im not too sure if im gonna feel too much of a difference as far as power unless im willin to dump quite a bit of money into the motor which i would really like to do

your most noticeable difference would be doing the heads for power wise. If you do gears such as 3.73's you'll feel like you've gained a lot of horse...you accelerate a lot quicker. Gears are probably the best first mod you could do. I can't wait till I get mine in.

yea... well ive already got the 3:73 gears and i love them, i know its not quite the acceleration of the 4:10 but it'll still jump out of the hole, and its fairly decent for the highway... i think i run from about 2000-2300 rpm's at 70mph which is pretty good

Dude, 70mm is NOT too big for your application, it is, though, the largest size that you want to go on a near stock 5.0. I installed a 70mm BBK TB and my u/d pullies at the same time and noticed a good SOTP gain.
