The thing is... I really dont want to replace the rad right now because there are a million other things that I want to spend my money on. I just want to get this damn thing to fit. I guess Im just going to take a shot cutting shaving some of the schroud until I get a electric fan for it. Or I can just let the car run for a day until it just shaves the fan down perfectly so it doesnt grind any more

Nah that wouldnt be good. Thats what happened with my 88. I put that rad in there and I just let it sit and it just grinded down the blades until they were short enough that they wouldnt hit anymore and than it went away.... but the fan blades were pretty much reuined. This is only temporary so its not that huge of a deal if I just cut the schroud for now I guess...
