what specs you have on motor in a 308 to get 417hp..not trashing ya ..just curious...cam specs motor,heads..

custom 308, all forged inturnals 11:1 compression, comp cams xe274hr cam 1.7 scorpian rollar rockers, procomp alum heads fully ported and polished, 2.050/1.60 valves, trickflow stud girdles in the heads, main girdle in the bottom high presure melling oil pump, victor jr. intake, Holley 650 DP, everything is fully balanced and bluprinted, MSD pro billet dizzy, MSD digital 6 plus ignition.....and so on.....just to much to list. It made 471.8 HP @ 5700RPM @ the Flywheel


ohh, and a 2500 stall converter w/ 3.73 gears backed by an AOD built like a brick ****house


^these and its 471hp not 417

I'm thinking he missed the flywheel part... you should have aboot 378 rwhp right?

not sure, I dont know how to calc. that. so people say 18% some say 20%. I'll know soon though I plan on putting it on a chassis dyno

It varies... i calculated aboot 20%... it also depends on what dyno you use...

Nice dyno numbers anyhow. Good looking whip and love those carb'ed 5 oh's. I love ripping wiring harnesses off with reckless abandon. Great job man.
