i was crusing around yesterday and it started to misfire so i go home. my car has a msd blaster coil cap and rotor, new plugs and a new fuel filter, all less than 2 months old, all were, working fine, i even swapped in all the stock parts and it ran the samethe wires i didnt do though, they are at least 6 month old ford motorsport wires, but all had good spark, is there a way to check the injectores? i put a screw driver on it and listened to the 6 i could get to and they all sounded the same, now today the car wont even stay running! please help I'm dieing over here, any ideas? i'm going to try and replace the wires and see if that does anything please help i appreciate it.

it is a '89 gt, bosch plugs, ford wires msd cap rotor and coil, new fuel filter

even tho ur getting spark throw those bosch plugs in the trash

turn the key on, engine off.. do u hear the fuel pump priming?

Agree on the plugs! Was the problem there before the tune up or was it just a maintenene tune? Is it missfiring or just won't stay running? Have you checked for vacuum leaks and you should have the f/p checked as well.

im guessin fuel problem.. ^^^ check and see if the pump is priming the system.

it turned out after going to 2 dealers and a week of down time it was the head gasket, no compression in 2 cylinders, the dealers suck they werent even the ones who figured it out o well its done and running strong
