Default New Fuel Pump Replacment...

OKAY tell me if I am flawed in my thought process here...

Problem Day one - Car takes a few turns of the key and some cranking to start...
Problem Day two - Car ALMOST stalls after putting the clutch in from 3-4th gear and when im pulling into the parking lot 2 min later I put the clutch in and it does stall...
Problem Day three - While on the way to take it to ford car stalls after putting the clutch in and im able to drift it into a parking lot... Car has to sit about 20-30 min to start back up and once started back up runs fine.

ALL Three days these problems occoured around 9am-2pm(some of the most humid times of day)
ALL Three problems only occoured once the car was out of gear.
Also poped a fuel pressure guage on it and it read ~ 30psi about 10 under what it should be.

After the car stalled today I just took it back home and decided that it MUST be the fuel pump or somthing with the fuel system... I decided not to take it to ford because they were going to charge me $80ish just to diagnose the problem. A fuel pump is ~ $95: so for the price ford could TELL me the pump is bad I could just replace it myself.

Evidence: Since the cars fuelpressure is constantly low, and it only stalls when i had the clutch in(when the engine and momentum arnt keeping the engine running), and after stalling it wont start back up because the fuel pump isnt supplying fuel! ive concluded that it MUST BE THE FUEL PUMP!!!

Tell me if I am at all flawed in my thought process guys... My only confusion is why would the pump would cut out at times and other times run(maybe not to full potential ~40psi but still run)...

ANYWAYS What is involved with changing out the Fuel pump in this baby; I just filled it up so i know that has to be ran or syphened out, but what else am I to expect the fuel pump is in the tank right... and the tank is under the H - pipe? so i have to unbolt the ehaust system and drop the tank then what next help me out guys this is the first time changing a fuel pump...

even at 30 psi the car will run. Im not thinking its the fuel pump. I think it has something to do with your dizzy. check the cap and rotor and the ignition module. If the ignition module gets to hot it will kill the car. Thats what I think is the problem I would replace that first but dont get a wells PLEASE

take the plug off the ignition module and look at the three plogs are any of them burnt also if the tabs on the cap and rotor are corroded you should replace it with a new anyways as it being a regular part for a tuneup
