its going to be a on a very empty road near work that truckers use to delievery boxes on that is only used during the day so at 12-12:30 its only going to be use on the road. so mods for mods who will win?

yep all of it cept for a few. honestly i think the notch will win cause of driver mod but if i get to drive the cobra i think it would be a much closer race

even ported e7's suck, i dont know what type of intake he has but he should be around 275hp at the wheels. the dohc cobra was 265 at the wheels stock and with exaust be might be around 270. the big killer is the 5.0 is geared correctly.

exactly...theres a time and place for everything...even street racing!
quick question though JASPERSTANG!:
are they going from a roll or a dead stop? if i missed it sorry but i think that'll have a big impact on the race

if they go to a main road it would be stupid but if they find an empty road where they are not gonna hurt anyone there is no problem. they are risking thier own lives.

Thats easy to say unless YOU'VE LOST 2 friends!!!! My two friends were driving around in his Cobra and wanted to see how fast they could get it. They came to a cross road and a 17year old girl pulled out in front of them. Killed them instantly and now the 17 year old girl is parralized. Her car was split in two. I dont know if the impact caused this but the police officers said that the speedo was locked in the dash at 160. Think about things like that before you say them.

like the guys said to go on a quiet road. They were on a quiet road out in the country at night. Its hard to tell how fast a car is going at night until it passes you. Im sure the girl thought she had time to go across until it was too late. Best thing to do is wait and go to the drag strip. Alot of tracks have a test and tune on Wed, thurs, or friday nights before the weekend. Dont go risking lives and your own to see who is more "macho" or who has the fastest mustang. I used to street race too until something tragic like that happens. You hear about it all the time and think this could never happen to me. Well when it does your in for a rude awakening.

Everyone feels different about it... you will always have that "what if" in the back of your head.
I dont like to race on the street but when I do... I trust myself that the location, etc. is safe.
