no smog laws unless ur in metro areas like atlanta and macon etc u can run redneck pipes even lol all the chevy truck do(stight pipes with hallowed out cats) they sound nasty but they do it for some reason?

nah were just not in a area where smog sits it blows away quickly im about 1/4 mile from the ocean they have laws just never enforced

oo, thats cool..my bro and mom and dad tell me that

years ago..near los angeles, that if you would go out and run around

that it would hurt to breathe because of the smog..lol

yeah we actuallty have a pretty clean air where im at u can tell theres some type of plant that grows on the oaks around here wouldnt grow if the air was bad? but now? but in other areas of cleaniness were on a superfund site here in brunswick[&:] not good i think were 2 in the nation a company lots millions of pound of mercury over the years

if im thinking correctly you could even rebuild it with the carrier still installed in the car, i would rather pull it and have new bearings pressed on as im sure they need it but i think it can be done. you need to pull the z clip out, pull the c clips holding the axle shafts in place pull them out enough that the the splines are out of the carrier pull the plates and the friction disks out and replace them. make sure you soak the new friction plates in gear oil for at least 20 min before installing them, if you can soak them for a couple of hours its better. they dont pop as much when you first start driving.
