good choice? x pipe with cats
well my car failed inspection, i knew it would. so for once in for all i am just going to put on the right exhaust... would this be a good choice??? it says i'll gain 20 hp proven. heres the link, the price isnt to bad either.... i believe i have stock headers, they are wrapped though... i have a flowmaster exhaust.

also is an x pipe a good choice? with these cats will the sound go away alot?? im just trying to pass inspection and cut down the exhaust fumes a bit... its my daily and im starting to get dizzy at stoplights, haha. thanks

RE: good choice? x pipe with cats
the power gains from an x pipe are minimal, besides if you dont have a tuned catback then your mufflers are the bottleneck in your exhaust system, unless of course you have stock headers, theres a billion threads on this topic search around and get what you like
