HELP!! Problem wit my engine Ideal !!!???
HELP!! Problem wit my engine Ideal !!!???
Greetings gentelmen......
I have just instaled a 64 garret turbo on my manual 94 mustang and im now facing a GREAT problem with my engine ideal. The car keeps on riving between 500-1500 RPM and sometimes it goes off.
Im having a full job on my car from pullyes, headers, exhaust To E cam, edelbrock heads and trick flow manifold. Also a 42lb injectors.
I've tried all possible sloutions: vacum leaks, gasket leaks, houses leaks and even the MAF(pro-m 75) it self, but with no soloutions yet.
Now i've reached a dead end road and would like to seek your suggestins and support with the soloution for the upper problem, some told me to try to drill the throtle , but i didnt yet.
Please let me know if you have any thing that can help me.
Many Thanks
Saleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen for ever....

RE: HELP!! Problem wit my engine Ideal !!!???
idle
took me a while to figure out what you're talking about.
e-cam is a lumpy cam, not as bad as my f-cam, but still noticeable.
Check fuel pressure
check timing
have you done any computer work? If not you need to seriously consider getting the ECU tweaked.
My car required the idle to be set a bit higher - 900rpm or so - and the dashpot decay rate altered a little to keep it from stalling when I pulled up to stoplights. After doing those, as well as entering the MAF transfer rate and injector size, fixed my idle problems
