leave the rev limiter where its at, 6,250.

Bad things happen when you spin a motor to far past its rev limiter.

From what i've experienced the Auto comp will cause the motor to break up at higher RPMs. Switch over to a stock 5spd computer and it shouldnt do that.

i have an auto and ive had mine come awfuly close to the rev limiter.. infact i probably hit it and thats why it shifted

too many people say they cant even rev past 5k with the auto shifting

keep the pedal to the floor and trust me.. it will rev damn high!

Ha, when your AOD only has park reverse nuetral and overdrive, your only gettin 4500rpm in gear. Neutral is higher, but damn this crappy AOD, cant wait till I get my **** to convert.

^^^ i dont get it? lol

mine has 1st, 3rd, 4th, Neutral, Reverse, Park

i can wind out all the gears as far as i want but 2nd slips at WOT (while doing 1-D-1) so i usually just keep it in drive and let the computer shift

Something isnt right with my linkage, so I can only move the actual shifter from P down to OD, I cant do the 1-d-1-d shift trick because I cant shift into 1 or D. Get it? Didnt think so [:'(] Anyway if your using Drive, how the hell are you gettin by that 4500 shift points?
