What computer is in a 1990 lx

ok what comp. do i have and on the AOD should the ful cut off or is there any limmiters to the engine.

Should be an A9P with a 6250 rpm rev limiter.

my car wont rev that high and when i manually take it that high it boggs down

The stock tach has been known to be a little off.

Where does the power cut out? What rpm?

Most likely your hitting that limiter, but the tach is showing a different reading.

that and the fact that you're power dies off mid 5k's and you're probably floating your valves (on stock heads) above that anyway.

anything higher than 4800 rpms on a stock motor is drasticaly losing power

thats why most cars cant even edge past 4500 rpms in the top gear.. just no power
