New 5.0 parts car.
hey all. Just picked up a 85LX 5.0 complete parts car. no motor.. but has everything else... it also has a auburn posi unit with 4.56 gears.. just wondering if the gears might be too much for a daily driver?.. i'm guessing yes but just wondering if anybody has used 4.56 gears on the street and if so how was it?

lol.. i'm not that rich right now... but hopefuly someday.
the only reason i got the car was because of the rearend and the spare t5 i would have around.. just in case.. if anybody needs any parts for an 85 or 86 pm me. stuff will go cheap.. well minus the rear end and trans.lol

RE: New 5.0 parts car.
i am not sure... i'm gonna be running the stock 225/60/r15 tires.. and i was just wondering.. like.. if i was driving around town how bad would it be?.. the farthest i go on the highway.. is to the strip.. lol... i just dont want to get them in.. and be like turning 2500 rpm in 5th at like 45 or 50 mph... and then have to take it all back out.. and apart to switch to a 3.73 or 4.10.

Your tire's diameter is 25.630 inches
At 70 MPH in 5th gear, your motor is turning at 2,637.4 RPM
according to this calculator :P

and if its for parts do you mind me asking for some stuff?
