Ok i was drivin my car out of the gas station 2day with my system on and the car just died after i gunned it. left me in the mid of the street. The car has been havin chargin problems lately but once the car was on it never turned off. Today it did. it hasnt started up yet. the car turns over but wont start. Any help Pls i need 2 figure this out. Oh I tried to jump it but the car wouldnt start, but the lighst worked for a few min, and then everything died again.

It cranks over, right?

Run a fuel pressure and spark test. Change your cap/rotor/coil/pickup/plugs/wires.

it cranks over if i have jumper cables on it, w/o them it wont crank but two times and die.

Does the fuel pump prime? You really need to run a fuel pressure check and spark check...that'll help us out a lot.

dont worry about the fuel pressure. if your lights and stuff dont turn on unless you have jumpercables on it, then its the battery. put the battery on a charger for a while then put it in and see if it starts up.

also, how big of a system are you running? and are you usuing the stock alternator or underdrive pulleys?

spark i kno the car has, i dunno bout fuel pressure but i kno fuel is gettin to the motoror at least to the fuel line where u check fuel pressure. the system is 2 12" kicker comps and a 600w amp, nothin 2 big. yes stock alternator no underdrives.

The batt doesnt charge for **** on the car wit cables need 2 try on a charger outside the car.

yeah take the battery out and charge it. if it wont hold a charge replace it.
