not sure, i have gotten my auto to about 6k without bogging 1 bit... and the shifting higher than 4800, what gear doesnt shift past 4800? 1st-2nd 2nd-drive? on my car 2nd gear is just about OBSOLETE. my car touches it for about 2 secs to make sure its still there when going throught the gears to get to drive. i can hold 1st to whatever speed in 1, but put it in D and it touches 2nd than bam its in drive immediately. just how the AOD is. thats why i want to get a valve body.

Dude I just saw your tag, what part of Md are you from?

As far as your problem goes, does it misfire or does it seem lke it's just running out of gas.

Well that could be exactly what's going on. Maybe it running out of fuel in the upper R's. You would need to attach a gauge and drive it to be sure.

First you have to determine if infact that it is, and if it's so. How old is the fuel filter on the car. Next thing to look at would be the pump. Is the car modded at all?
