Default How far can you go?

How many maods can a guy do to a speed ednisty car before it starts messing stuff up? I know you can't do anything internally, but what about an intake or cold air?

Default RE: How far can you go?

You can do anything that won't change the manifold vacuume. So of course exhaust mods and throttle body foward mods wont affect anything. Nor will timing changes. Usually you can change the intake manifold as well, depends on what kind you go with. If you go with something similar to the stock runners your ok. You can't do head changes at all. You can do cam changes (mild ones) only if the cam company says their cam is ok for speed density cars (there are such cam animals as those - the cams sold under that heading just keep a similar vacuum as the stock one.
