Default Ignition control module question

I just bought an MSD 6AL and just saw it needs to be used with a module kit that includes 5 modules per kit that has 200 RPM increments.

My question is do I need the kit and if so, which one should I get?

3,000-3,800 RPM kit
4.000-4,800 RPM kit
5,000-5,800 RPM kit
6,000-6,800 RPM kit

Thanks

It's for the rev limiter and yes you need it. I have the 6K one in mine.

I'll buy one, but still don't know what one I should get.

I don't race the car much, if at all, so I'd want one that's good for my mods, but not a higher range than I'd need.

Does that help at all?

I have a 5 psi SC, 73 MM MAF, 70 TB, pulleys, TF Street upper/lower intake, BBK 1 5/8 equal length headers, 355 gears, full three inch exhaust with Borla mufflers, AFPR 190 lph FP, Fluidyne radiator and a bunch of other stuff that I don't think matters.

Any recommendation on what range would be good?

If not, I can call Summit and see what they think.

It depends on what mods you have. Even though mine has a blower, the rest is basicaly stock so 6K is where I want to be.

I just found out from Summit the ignition box comes with the modules.

I guess I'll just need to decide which one to use.

I think I'll use the 5,000 to 5,800 RPM module, unless someone thinks I should use a different one.
