AC Not Blowing Right
I have an 88 mustang gt. I installed a new ac compressor, new accumulater,& a new orfice tube line. I took it to get charged with 134a but it is not blowing cold enuough. They told me it might be cause of the conversion to 134a, I think that's a bunch of bull sh*t,but they checked everything and said it's ok.I dont know why the air isn't cold. Can anyone give me some idea of what's going on?

How about a leak in the line?
That was my problem and they put a die in the fluid they ran through it, saw where the leak was and then put in r12.
That was a month or so ago and it's been blowing cold ever since.

RE: AC Not Blowing Right
you are supposed to add flush to the system, have the system evacuated and then vacummed for 15 minutes to get all the old stuff out.
then as you recharged, it would of sucked all that freon in FAST, this is a common issue for 134 a conversions, also an evap coil in the dash may be bad 2? 134a cools VERY COLD if you do it right, especially the synthetic version
