Anybody here using Thumper E7 heads?
I was researching this a little more and am finding out that they seem to be pretty good... I was thinking of getting a set with a TFS Stage 1 Cam and a TFS Street Heat intake. I agree with alot of people in the fact that I like the stock look under the hood... I figure for under the $1700-1800 mark I can make the power of the TFS Street heat top end kit, and still have money left over for MAF & Throttle Body upgrades... I could save even more if I go used on the intake mani...
I also wonder how well the TFS cam does with a automatic. Thanks.

I don't run them currently but I have in the past. They perform well for what they are. With a little NX added, I made 428rwhp 567rwtq with a set through an AOD. But they are not good bang for the buck. Have you ever shipped a set of iron heads? Ship him your cores or pay the core charge. Either way you can figure on $840 for a set of Thumpers with good enough springs for that TFS 1 cam.

You know you're buying a set of used heads, right? So what's wrong with comparing apples to apples and buying used TFS heads? I bought the TFS TW heads on my 600rwhp car for $800. They will flow over 50cfm more than Thumpers OTB and have plenty of future potential. Or you can pay $840 for Thumpers, keep your stock rockers and be DONE as far as upgrading the heads. If you ever want to get more than 220cfm, buy another set of heads... again.
