electronic power steering ?
some hybrid cars have eps or power steering systems that dont run off hydraulics. has anyone heard of this

not only do the hybrids have it but the chevy malibu 05and up have electric powersteering
the electric motor is under the dash ..........

havent seen yet but dont mean it not out there
if your wanting a hybrid go by one it will be alot cheaper than converting the stang to one
