hes already got mass air and bigger tb with stock injectors, maybe he needs to resety his computer?

same mass air and injectors it had before.

gonna re-do all the rockers tomorrow, maybe i did them too tight
and is why they are making noise.

Will vacume gauge tell me if I have a vac leak somewhere in the intake system?

how do you check to make sure distributor is in place properly
with #1 TDC?

Yeah, if the cacuum is low, it could be attributed to a leak, or wrong timing. It should be around 18-20 inches.

The dizzy. Set it to TDC, pull the cap and see if the rotor is pointing to #1 cyl on the cap.

my buddy had a similar problem, the cam was a tooth off and a valve was hanging open, just a thought
