I've tried it. You'll notice a difference on the first tank or two and you might pick up a couple miles per gallon, but I kind of felt like the increase I saw was from the cleaning effect it had on my engine and not the scientific hype you read about. It's also good to use when you have to pass the smog sniffer cuz it reduces hydrocarbon output when the fuel is burned. I'd say run a few tanks with it and then any gain you get will remain for a while because your engine is cleaner inside.

another old skool thing to do is to crush up moth ***** and put in your tank. all the old skool guys have been doing that since the late 60's at the strip. but i dont know how it would work in a fuel injected engine

i dont know...it may have adverse affects over time, i'd prefer to run a higher octane for better performance and fuel mileage, keeping your air filter clean, tires even, and the gas pedal off the floor helps the most in my opinion. kinda interesting though.. the moth ***** sounds messed up. people back then used mothballs for everything..nasty, but i wonder if thats only for carb'd setups?
