I've never used it but guys at the track swear by those and the detroit lockers, I've heard nothing but good things. Good Luck

Yeah, I just put an Auburn HD posi in my rear end. Although I may have to replace it due to my stupidity, but I won't know that until this weekend.

Anyways, which Auburn differential are you getting? HD? Pro? The Pro can handle more - that's the only difference.

Really? i always thought that auburn made a really good posi.. i think it's the hd but i'm not sure.. since the car was just his drag car it might be the pro but i'm not sure..... would i be better to just rebuild the factory trac-lok then run the auburn?

I had one on my 89 firebird to try to eliminate wheel hop on that piece of crap. It was awesome to have, but it still hopped (I hated that). It made some noise. But it was a great product.

88blueGT what horror stories have you heard, please share them, interested to see what complications people have had. Because I'm under the same influence as 86GT, never heard anything but good results when there installed correctly.

I dont have any PERSONAL experience with it so Im not going to say its junk but thats just what I heard.

The do have a slight ammount of noise to them though.
Nothing a good exhaust note cant overcome.
