Default Engine oil, Synthetic or regular

I have a new engine and I am about to change my oil. I have about 500 miles of break-in time on it so Im sure the rings have seated. Should I run synthetic or regular oil in it?

Don't put synthetic until 5,000 miles. Really let the engine break-in first. Change it w/conventional until then.

Yea, you need to loosen that engine up.

I would wait until after the engine is well worked in before I put synthetic........its over kill if you like to change your oil but it sure piked up the life of my 109,000 mile GT..........
