Default Stock AOD Tranny

A nice Novi 1000 is in my sight very soon. I eventually plan on upgrading to a Lentech Street Brusier but I want to the the blower first before the tranny. How well do you think a stock AOD trans will hold up to a 5.0 with basic bolt ons and a 10psi blower? (full exhaust. tb, cai, manifold, etc.)

Thanks guys. I am asking because if it can hold up for a while Im just going to use it but I dont want to mess it up because its almost a brand new tranny (rebuilt about 3K ago) and I can sell it for some extra cash. Thanks.

Well, I dont want to put any work into it because it will only be in there temporarily... maybe a few months at max.

I really dont plan on beating the hell out of it or anything... I will just cruise it in drive until highway cruising and cruise in OD.... thats how I usually do it.

So do you guys think the trans will last a few months with no problems? I dont want to ruin it because I want to sell it to get some extra cash for the Lentech.

yea but Im just worried that it will get messed up when running that much power through it. Im not sure what the hp will be but its gonna be basically every bolt on except for heads/cam with a 10psi blower.

Why get a street bruiser if you're only interested in street? Its non-lockup...

Well, Im not only interested in the street.... it just wont see alot of track time. Also, its not a DD or anything like that so the reliability of a non-lockup style will not affect me. Do you have any recommendations for a lockup because I dont see them around too often......
