I check mine with engine running and vacuum line disconnected. Engine build/mods will determine what pressure is needed, I would assume yours would be in the mid 30s.

so you all think it is either a full pressure issue or tps settings causeing to act this way. Also do u need the vacuum line on the fpr on or off while car is running. I will try the suggestions you have made and give them a try. Thanks for the help fellas

I'm feeling your frustration, lol

Yes, you have tweak a bunch of little things to these EFI
systems to get them just right.
mine would barely run and had no power, till i got some
help and tweaked a bunch of stuff. Still not quite right.
but will hold an idle and runs better than it did.

You need to pull the codes too.
what did you have to tweak exactally when doing your setup. i found that mine needed all kinds of crap with mine and even then i'm still have power issues.

you name it, we phucked with it.

going in Tuesday for professional adjustment and dyno tune.

was talking to mustang only shop tech this week, he said
they never really run 100% till you get it dyno tuned
by someone that knows what they're doing and have custom
chip burned.

and no he doesnt have a dyno so he wasnt just trying to
sell me.

unplug Iac adjust base idle till it runs at a decent idle. Adjust your tps to 1.0vdc , plug in Iac should be fine, if not reset base idle higher/lower till you get it dialed in.

Hello again fellas. I have narrowed my problem down to timing and full pressure. I redone the rockers and now have no poping in intake. I also had vacuum leak between upper and lower. I also set the tps at .97. I dont have to hold gas pedle all the way down to start it anymore it just turns over for awhile before it starts. The car still doesnt want to idle but it sounds better when i pedle it to keep it running. I also have a couple more questions. When rockers are adjusted do the still have a little play side to side because mine do. Also the vacuum leak between upper and lower was soaked with gas at the 3rd port from front of motor so my guess was that it was leaking there. So i made some progress today (against wifes wishes...lol) but ill get it soon i hope. I also have some white smoke out pipes when i rev it a little bit.
