Default Question...Please help

Ok i have a few questions, i am looking at getting a 89 mustang gt vert 5-speed w/ 117k miles BONE STOCK. Nice condition, top goes up and down good, no leaks, all power options work, only probs are a cracked windshield and it needs a clutch cable, low number production color (bright regatta blue 1 of 1,089 this color) my first question is the guy wants $2500, is this a good deal?? Second is are the verts ok to mod the hell out of or is the chassis not as strong as the notchs or hatches?? And third how much heavier are the verts?? Thanks guys

first mod to a vert is subframe connectors and suspension upgrades, motor mounts are stronger than coupes, and yes they are good to mod, clutch cable and windshield are relatively cheap fixes, yes it sounds like a good deal , any pics? Verts are 300 LB's heavier, i believe the GT's are 3200 and the verts are 3500, notches maybe 3000

If you plan on it being a fast track car, plan on being harassed by the techies becuase you don't have a rollbar/cage or whatever in there. Helmet is going to be needed as well.

I bought my vert for 3 grand, and it was under book value, and not as clean as the one you have there. The top looks to be in good shape too. Get it!

Anyone else think this is a good deal? Its going to need the blue part re-pained as it is bubbling, and the car come with factory turbines too...
