i saw this in the jegs catalog. i was wandering if it is worth it and if it would be reliable on a daily driver. i already have underdrive pulleys which means that the fan is already spinning slower with means less drag. so will this realy make any difference? my fear in having the underdrive pulleys on (just got them) that my car wont cool well enough. my fear in getting the electric fan is that ill be driving to vegas in the middle of summer and the electic motor takes a dump on me and the car over heats and stalls in the 110* heat. what is your advice on the subject?

RE: cooling
As long as you get a good fan and install it properly it's not going to crap out on you. That looks like a nice fan. Mine doesn't even have a thermostat so it's always on. Cost me about $70 at a local part store.

RE: cooling
My car doesn't get driven very much at this point, but I've had the fan a couple months. The car's been driven less than 100 miles with it on though. Regardless the fan you're looking at has a thermostat so it will only be on when it needs to be. Also, if you can mount in on the front of the radiator (if it pushes) it will free up a bunch of room in the engine compartment.
