I think the first thing you should do is get a new paint job.

351w is a tight fit in the early stangs, the shock towers may need "adjusting" to clear exhaust manifolds. Put a 5.0 in it it will move plenty good. You are going to want to upgrade the rear axle and front suspension to V-8 parts while you are at it, this will also give you the five lug setup.

Put some wish bone mags on there, thats what should to be on there. IMO

yes the mags are def the way to go...and you think your car looks bad you should see my brothers 65 289HO its been sitting in the same spot in the driveway for 6 years just keeps sinking in had no floor/interior and you should see the rot rust on the sides

looks like a solid project car, i'd get it stripped down to bare metal and repair/replace any body work that needs to be doen and then get it epoxy primered, and painted, just be careful when working on it with the new paint job. Good Luck
