Engine missing need help
OK it is hard to expain because it doesnt do it all the time, but like say you are driving down the road and I hit 4th gear and I am giving it gas it like kinda engine pops sometimes and I can feel the engine miss and I can feel the pop in the gas pedal. I can hear it too but I cant tell if it is popping through the intake or the exhaust. The only thing I can think of is the valves need to be readjusted could it be anything else? When I am racing it doesnt miss at all. What I have is a stock bottom end with AFR 185cc heads with FRPP 1.6 roller rocker arms with the BBK SSI intake. Any suggestion would be nice..

If its just missing once every once in awhile, it could be just the plugs. Most likely you got a spark plug wire arcing off to a piece of metal. Look on your exhaust tubes on your headers and make sure there are no white spots where it may be arcing to them. Check ur coil to, cause missing under load is sometimes caused by the coil going out.
