engine sputtering
I have had my 94 gt auto for a few months and now it seems to be sputtering alot in the hotter weather. When I stop at a light I have had trouble getting going again. The car never stalls but I have to really play around with the pedal to get moving. The car want to just die off. When I finally make it up to about 2300 rpm then it seems to finally take off. I have only noticed this while driving in the city with stop/go traffic and it seems to happen alot when the AC is blasting. I have noticed that the engine temp is slightly elevated but not too high (3/16 inch farther than normal). I am wondering if this could be the fuel pump starting to go and the hotter temps are making it worse. I never notice this while on the highway or when the car is cold. Even when hot it doesnt always do this but does get worse.

RE: engine sputtering
Have you tried cleaning the Idle Air Control and the Throttle Body? That's a common cause of rough idles. Of course it could be many things, but that's a good start. Are you getting any Check Engine Lights?

RE: engine sputtering
I did not get any check engine lights. I will check out the idle air control and throttle body. I forgot to mention that it does idle good when stopped but just cant get any power. I did one time put the car in neutral at the light and it did seem to rev up ok but just wouldnt get any power when under load.
On another topic: i have been trying to figure what happened to some of my interior electrical. My lighter/accessory plug and power seat quit working (lighter got stuck in and melted the end off). I check every fuse inthe panel under the dash and in the panel under the hood but all are fine. I assume these are both on the same fuse but i have no manual and no access to a repair book. Is there another location for fuses in the cab bersides the ones in the panel under the steering column. It is also possible that a previous owner burned out the fuse and replaced it with a larger one and now I have burned out my wiring in that circuit. Just want to check the easy stuff before I pull the center consle/dash apart.
