Default problem...please read.

sorry for the vague subject everyone but i don't really know how to describe it. every once in a while my 95 gt auto will kind of bog down right when i start it up and act like it's going to stall like it would if it were a manual. if i give it enough gas i can usually get it going fine and it's not a problem for a while. nothing is ever rong while i'm driving it's only in the beginning. it acts really weird, the brake gets really stiff(i don't know how to describe it) anyway, i'm sure i sound clueless because i am but if anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated i don't want to take it to a dealership before i check everything that i can myself because they'l charge me just to tell me they can't find anything. my transmission fluid had a leak when i bought the car about a month and a half ago but i patched it and it's been fine ever since but there could be something else wrong with it? i don't know...any help would be great. thanks

check your throttle position sensor, it could be sending a bad signal. how is your ignition system??? are you firing on all cylinders??? those are just a few ideas.

thanks everybody for your suggestions. i'm going to take the list of things you guys said to my boyfriend and see if he can check all those things for me ( i know a good bit more about cars than your average girl but half of that stuff was a mystery to me) if he can't find it or fix it i'll take it to a dealer i just wanted that to be my last resort. thanks again guys, i'll keep ya posted
