Default Mass Air question

Just got my 89 GT back from paint and body, and he ran it to Empty!...I pused it to a gas station and pumped 93 fuel and fiel booster...but now in 2nd or 3rd gear when I punch it the car chokes..is that fuel filter or mass air???

could be a fuel pump too maybe.. check your fuel pressure.. running fuel pumps dry is not good for them.

How far did you get away from the shop before you ran outta gas?!?! I would smack that ***** for wasting MY gas, then making ME push the car to a gas station[:@]

I would check the fuel filter on the pump and fuel filter in-line, probably picked up sediment.

^ true that's **** me off, perhaps the fuel filter is clogged or the pump is going bad? Is your MAF cal'd to your injectors? Do you have a rough idle?

Its never good to run a tank empty because theres 15 years of crap in the bottom of the tank to get stuck in the filter when it sucks it up

where the hell did this guy drive you car dude? Id be calling his *** up complaining about this. He could have just ran the **** out of your car the whole time, last i checked painting a car doesnt require much driving.

Agree... I would have to sit down and have a chat with that guy.

Also, start with the fuel filter. Its a 10 dollar job.
